Transcribe!

Many professional or amateur musicians need to transcribe the music pieces to learn how to play them or transpose them into another key to better suit their voice or arrangements.

This program makes these tasks a lot easier. It has many different tools to help you do so. For example, you can decrease the normal speed of the piece without affecting its pitch; that is, you will hear exactly the same piece but at a lower speed, so you can figure out its notes or chords. If you want to transpose the piece into another key, the program lets you increase or decrease its pitch in increments of one semitone at a time, so it will be easy for you to find the tone you are looking for.

The program also has Chord and Note Guesses functions that detect the approximate note played in the piece and show it on a piano keyboard. This way, you can click on the key showing the guessed note to see if it is correct, and then write it in your transcription. Also, you can select only a part of the piece and the program will play it once and again so that you can figure out its notes and chords. This is especially useful for learning difficult passages.

Please note that the program does not perform the transcription for you, but it is only an aid for doing so. Also, there are some functions that need some practice to be fully used.
